Girl Scout Cookie Pairing at Molly’s on February 16
Date: February 13, 2017
Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub at 4 E. Fourth Street in Bethlehem is teaming up with Shangy’s, The Beer Authority, for a special Girl Scout Cookie Beer Pairing on February 16 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
“We always love to have a bit of fun here,” Molly’s owner, Charles Patrick, said. “Who doesn’t love Girl Scout Cookies? Who doesn’t love craft beer? We’ve got you covered.”
The Girl Scout Cookie Beer Pairing is the brainchild of Shangy’s Craft Beer Specialist Pat Loquasto, who had seen a similar event done with brownies in the past.
“I contacted Molly’s and said, ‘Let’s do something off the wall,’” Loquasto said. “And here we are five years later.
This year’s event will showcase National Craft Beers like Oskar Blues Dales Pale, DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus, and local beers from Sly Fox Brewery in Pottstown and Funk Brewery in Emmaus.
“Molly's draws a great craft beer crowd from local Bethlehem residents, and college students,” Loquasto said. “Along with this pairing, Molly’s has two wing & beer pairings throughout the year. Also, having $3 craft beer Monday nights allows for the customer to explore the craft beer world.”
There will be four pairings priced at $15 per person. And while the event goes until 11:30 p.m., be careful, it will also end if they run out of Girl Scout Cookies! Visit the Facebook RSVP page.
